Step 1: Activate the Discovery Apple Watch Benefit
To qualify for the Discovery Apple Watch Benefit, you must be the primary cardholder on a Discovery Bank suite in good standing.
You need to have spent at least R3,000 in the month before you activate the Vitality Apple Watch offer.
If you’re a new Discovery Bank client, you’ll need to have used your credit card for three full months before applying.
These checks confirm you meet the Vitality Active Rewards requirements before you get your iStore collection code.
Step 2: Collect Your Apple Watch (Discovery Apple Watch Benefit)
In the Discovery app, activate the Discovery Apple Watch Benefit and pay the once-off R1,199 activation fee (refundable once in a lifetime for Vitality 65+ members).
When your payment is processed, you’ll receive a unique iStore collection code for your new Apple Watch.
This activation step also links your Discovery Bank account to the Vitality Apple Watch tracking system so your weekly goals and any monthly penalties are calculated automatically.
Step 3: Close Your Vitality Active Rewards Exercise Goals
Before collecting your Apple Watch at iStore, check your credit limit is at least R15,000 and that you have R5,000 available after paying the activation fee.
Your watch will only be released once these limits are confirmed in-store.
From the first full month after collection, close all four weekly Vitality Active Rewards exercise goals each month for 24 months to earn your Apple Watch free.
The more consistently you achieve your goals, the less you pay- meet them all and Discovery covers the full cost.
